I threw this together after a conversation with a friend about sexy songs. The dude she was dating didn’t think songs could be sexy, for reals?? Seems like that should have been an immediate red flag, but I digress. Anyhow I skipped January as I’m sure you’ve noticed so this seemed like a good mix to share for February.. Best of all this is the first mix that I’ve made where all of the songs were available, so you can stream the whole thing below! As with December, the photo is mine but I threw a little Curtis Kulig tag in there as well.. I’m way into his stuff lately..

Woohoo… Below you will find my most recent mix tape.. A little back story for those joining us late in the game.. One night last spring I was on my way home from work and randomly threw together a playlist on my phone of songs similar to a song I was listening to on repeat.. I just wanted to switch it up a bit.. Generally I spend tons of time thinking out a mix tape, there is a science to it, you know? In the past if I made a mix tape it was always for someone.. I listened to it for a few days and figured that since this one wasn’t for anyone specific why not just share it with my friends? Thats always been the best way for me to discover music, your friends know what you like and I think at this point I know what you like so check it out..

So its not exactly the first of the month, but I promise this is worth the wait. I managed to get some exclusives this month.. brand new unreleased songs from The Gay Blades, Recover (a track from the forth coming record Challenger)and Far (Their last unreleased song.. its a PJ Harvey Cover), Bad Books (Kevin Devine & Manchester Orchestra) plus a bunch more.. As you may have noticed I went with something slightly different this month for the cover with a little help from my friend Amy who does a very cool site called fleisher & check it out.
